I mistakenly booked a hotel in the wrong location after a long day of traveling across several states; once I realized the error, I called the hotel right away to ask for a refund, but I never got a response.
“Not very pleasant.”
The spot was handy for our trip, but the room was crawling with flies and I had to buy a fly swatter locally. Feral cats prowled outside our room in the morning, and a nasty stench came from nearby bushes. Breakfast didn’t live up to a Days Inn—there were way too many sweets.
“Wouldn’t stay there again, would prefer to drive longer or shorter and stay at a nicer hotel.”
The hotel’s off‑highway location was convenient, and the staff were nice. However, the room was infested with critters and bugs, and it didn’t look clean.
Breakfast was just stuff you could grab at a local gas station—honey buns, Danishes, and a few snack cakes, mostly junk food. The location was somewhat quiet, so we crossed the street to McDonald’s for a proper breakfast. Cats roamed the entire stairwell and the parking lot, and there was a strong smell of cat urine on the walkways.
“It was a comfortable stay”
Everything I needed was nearby, check‑in and check‑out were smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful!
