“Worst stay at a hotel i have had”

Breakfast was okay, and the room was a good size, but the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel: while we were staying, staff saw me leaving with some of my belongings, fully dressed for graduation, and assumed we had checked out. We hadn’t, and our room keys were still active. We had deliberately left many of our belongings in the room because we planned to return, change, and relax before the long trip home. Instead, we came back to find our belongings thrown into a trash bag and our food discarded. Even worse, no one contacted us or confirmed that we had checked out before removing our belongings. The staff member present offered a full compensation for our stay, which seemed reasonable, but the general manager later countered that offer with a disrespectful $25. This was an unacceptable experience from start to finish; mistakes happen, but the handling and management’s response were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

“I didn’t even stay at the hotel. I never got a response back for my refund.”

I asked for a refund or cancellation multiple times and never got a response or money back, so I didn’t get my money back.

The location, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast were great, but the overall appearance felt outdated, a bit run down, and dingy; for the nightly cost of up to $450 at a Holiday Inn, I was a bit disappointed.

“We overall had a very good stay. The staff were all extremely nice.”

I liked having access to many restaurants and being close to interstate 65 with no road noise, but the paint and carpet could use a refresh.
