The hotel offers a lot of ambience, free tea and coffee for guests, and nice views of the bay. It’s also close to the ferry terminal and right next to a grocery store. I highly recommend it as a budget option for Oban.

The place is in a great spot, the staff are friendly, and the beds are comfy. We tried the cheese rolls at every spot we visited and they were delicious. The restaurants had a great menu. No problems—just can’t change the weather.

Everything was perfect and affordable, and it was within walking distance of everything. The only downside was that the curtains were mouldy.

It’s an old‑style hotel that feels as comfortable as a favourite cardigan. The staff went out of their way to make sure guests had a great time no matter what the weather was doing. The bathrooms need an upgrade.

The location is great. All the staff were amazing except for one young blonde lady who was very rude to customers, didn’t smile, while everyone else was fantastic.
