Candlewood Suites College Station by IHG

The location was good, but the place wasn't clean and the front‑desk staff waited while a hair fell into a tub.

“It was comfortable and the staff was very sweet and nice”

The bed was great, nothing else to note.

“Staff was pleasant, very accommodating. I’m sure that the blood that they had was the only reason for odor. I”

The location was convenient for the college station I was visiting. A strong odor hit me right away, so my aunt in another room and I had to get up the next morning and buy Lysol and disinfectant sprays at Walmart. It seemed like a flood from the humidity fans that were there; the floor in my rooms (yes, I said rooms) and the hall were hit by the smell, and my room also had severe internet problems and the cable wasn't working, so I was moved to a separate room after a direct request.

The location was fine, but we didn't get the room we booked through Bookings.com. The booking listed breakfast, yet we could only buy food from a snack machine.

“Average facility, which I thinks leads to a culture of apathy toward maintenance and upkeep and overall operational mana”

The price, location, and staff were good, but the management was not. The pool was green and the hot tub was dirty and not working. Bed linens had blood stains, bugs were in the corners of the room, the toilet seat was broken, the vanity light was out, and the restroom mirror was missing.
