The private apartment was charming, with tasteful vintage furniture. Alice, the host, was friendly and helpful, sharing up‑to‑date info. Another family stayed in different rooms at the same time, but it didn’t bother us. We’d come back anytime. The only downside was the rooms were very noisy.

It’s close to major sights yet still feels authentic and not overly touristy. The host was friendly and welcoming. It’s not fancy, but it’s a nice, affordable spot to sleep and explore Venice. The breakfast wasn’t really included; the host let us help ourselves to what was in his kitchen, which is different from the typical breakfast at larger B&Bs.

The location was great, with a balcony overlooking the canals. The only suggestion is to have a small foldable table and chairs to better enjoy the balcony views.
