There are very few hotels in Everglades City, so the location near the park is convenient. The room is spacious with comfortable bedding, and the air conditioning works well. The pool is decent. However, the room wasn’t very clean, and when I forgot a pair of shorts I emailed the hotel and never received a response.

Everything worked out for a single night, but there’s nothing to do in the area in the evenings during this time of year, and the mosquitoes are brutal!
