The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the hostel had a nice inner yard where you could relax, eat, or just chat, kept clean daily. However, the house itself and its furnishings were a bit old and messy—paint was peeling off the ceiling in one bathroom. The common area only had a microwave and kettle, so we couldn't really cook there. We paid a security deposit but never got it back or were told about any issues with our stay, and when we tried to contact the property through the booking platform we only received automated replies.
At least there was a door so you weren't staring at the people next to you, but you could hear everything, the pods are super cheap, with one toilet for males, one for females, and one mixed for the whole building.
