Hotel Las Cancelas, a 15th-century inn, is a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Avila's old town, facing the cathedral and ancient town wall. The hotel features 14 spacious rooms, a restaurant serving traditional Castilian cuisine in a courtyard, and free wireless internet. Its prime location near Plaza de Santa Teresa and historic churches makes it an ideal base for exploring Avila.

The location is perfect, the hotel is very traditional but with renovated (or in‑process) furnishings. The staff are super friendly. Parking is not available for all rooms.

Cleanliness, location, and staff are great. The restaurant food and service are very good. Just remember to reserve a parking spot by phone and follow the email instructions.
