Anna was friendly and genuinely welcomed me at check‑in. The location was a five‑minute walk to the railway station. Breakfast at €10 was not good value, and room 13 on the third floor was on a steep slope, making moving around the room difficult.

I think this two‑star hotel is pretty good. I’m not sure if it’s run by the owner or a manager, but the staff—likely a couple—treated me very well. The woman spoke perfect English and helped with concierge requests. I was touring the Normandy battle sites and she helped arrange a taxi, which was very helpful. The location is easily walkable from the station and close to the town square. As a two‑star hotel, the shower area is very narrow—typical French style—but it worked. The walls are thin, so I could hear the TV from the next room, but within polite limits guests were considerate, and it was quiet when I slept.

The hotel sits right in the center and near Cherbourg’s port; the owner is very welcoming and the breakfast is excellent. Free parking is close by. I definitely recommend this place.

The location is right in the commercial area and nearby free parking is fairly available. Nothing else to add.
