Hotel Alion

The location is right on the beach front. The room needed floor repairs.

When we arrived, the bathroom ceiling was wet in several spots and water was dripping down. We reported it to reception, pointing out that the wet floor and exposed wiring in the ceiling posed safety risks. They said the leak was caused by a flooding incident in the room above the previous night and refused to offer a refund or a new room, claiming no vacancies. We left that evening instead of staying the night.

“Horrible”

The room was filthy, with feces and urine in the toilet and hair in the shower; housekeeping didn’t clean; breakfast was basic, the bedding was ruined, and there was noise all night.

“Ich war froch dass wir nur eine Nacht dorten verbracht haben.”

The central location and staff were fine. The four‑star rating is misleading – the rooms and bathrooms are very old and uncomfortable. To keep those stars, a serious renovation is necessary.

We never got the room we booked six months ahead; the front‑desk staff acted as if it was funny that we had reserved a sea‑view room with a balcony but were handed a room overlooking a narrow, busy street. The room was dirty, covered in dust, and even had the toilet inside the shower. Getting there by car was a nightmare and there was no parking at all.
