“Stolen Money from employee”
Around €400 went missing from my belongings during my stay, which was a serious issue. I identified the employee Saman as the only person on camera who entered my room and moved my items. The owner, Asanka, didn’t believe me or investigate the matter in a way that satisfied me, leaving me very disappointed.
“I mean its decent for a 3000 reupees a night. Regardless what we pay rooms should be clean. Shower didn’t have a shower”
I liked that it was right on the main road, but the rooms weren't cleaned—dust on the net and the bathroom was dirty.
The location is great and you get what you pay for, though it could be a little cleaner.
Asanka and the team are super nice and welcoming; the room was clean and the location is perfect, so I highly recommend this place. The pool table isn’t in great shape, though.
This hostel was super chill and social, and being so close to the beach was a big plus.
