The hotel lived up to its 4‑star promise: spotless rooms, comfy beds, and overall clean. The only downside was that the canteen and reception fridges carried only alcohol.

I never actually stayed there, so I have nothing to say about the experience. I booked the Marikana Guest House because I thought it was in Marikana town, but the location was unclear and I paid for a place I didn’t get. This should be clarified for future guests.

Everything was spotless, but the towels were barely enough—just two per room—and the pillows felt a bit hard; softer ones would improve comfort.
