The front desk staff were friendly, yet the breakfast was an absolute disaster: tables were left dirty, the buffet was empty, and we had to ask for basic items like bread and clean crockery that should have been stocked automatically.

The bed and room were excellent—comfortable and exactly what you need, with a good shower and well‑kept bathroom. The steak we ordered at the restaurant was beautifully made and definitely ranks in the top three. However, we arrived on a Saturday night after a very long day of travel. The staff did their best, but because there was no remote‑control gate, a staff member had to walk up and down to lock and unlock it for safety reasons. The restaurant was clearly short‑staffed; one woman had to seat us, take our orders, deliver them to the kitchen, and serve the food all at once. While this was manageable, the bar on the property and other guests made noise until past 2 am, which was disappointing. If you’re looking for a quieter stay, a Saturday night is not recommended.

The bar area for a sundowner had zero atmosphere—everything was fully tiled, like standing in a shower. The Badgers Grill restaurant was the worst hotel meal experience ever: we ordered the Curry and Rice “special,” and with seven people in the dining room it took an hour and a half to be served. When it finally arrived, it was mostly bones and the 20 grams of meat were still frozen.
