The terrace on the top floor is pretty cute, but the bathrooms are cramped and under‑equipped, feeling almost claustrophobic. The rooms themselves are tiny and uncomfortable—climbing up to the bed is necessary because there aren’t proper steps. Even the storage areas for personal items are awkward and not ergonomic.

I never stayed there, never even got to see the place! They cancelled my trip and, even after explaining the situation, they didn’t refund me! Were they inflexible? I asked if they could change the date, but there was no agreement! They didn’t care at all!

We were woken up at 8.30 by staff shouting at our door, asking if we were checking out that day when our checkout was at 11, and they kept shouting outside our room for the next half hour. The lift was broken, and being on the top floor wasn’t ideal, but that was just unfortunate timing.

A very nice and central spot, but because the rooms were shared with 11 other people it was very likely that someone would keep you up. In my case I couldn’t sleep well on two of the three nights because of that. Also the elevator didn’t work and it was on the 4th floor.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and speak many languages, including Italian; the common room is beautiful and well‑equipped, and the backpack storage is very convenient. The hostel is welcoming, but the bathrooms weren’t always clean and the building had a slightly unpleasant odor, though overall for a 4‑day trip it was okay.
