The staff were friendly, breakfast was great, the room lovely, the location superb, and best of all Lucky the dog and the cats were a delight. However, mosquitoes were a nuisance and a net over the bed would have helped; a working fan would also have been useful as the room got quite hot one night.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beach lodge and felt completely relaxed from the moment I arrived; the entire team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Staying during Ramadan meant things were a bit quieter, which I actually enjoyed for the peaceful atmosphere. It felt like the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and simply enjoy the ocean. As a solo traveler, feeling safe and comfortable is crucial, and I genuinely felt both throughout my stay. Everyone was kind, respectful, and made the environment feel very relaxed and easygoing. Overall, it was a truly special place to spend a few days, and I would gladly return if I come back to The Gambia.

I extended my stay, and it’s a really lovely place; lunch and dinner cost 450 Dalasi, beer 150 Dalasi, and the staff are really nice and helpful. Only 2 bungalows with 4 rooms. They don’t take much care of the property, but that’s Gambian style 😜; don’t expect an early breakfast 🫣.

The location is great, there are 2 bungalows with 4 rooms, palm trees, tranquility, and it’s within a 10‑minute walk to the fishing village. It could improve a little bit.
