“tranquilo y polvoriento”
The flat sits on the ground floor of a two‑story house, one apartment per floor. The spot is great if you want peace and nature: a big lawn, away from traffic noise, about a 10‑minute walk to the lake and a 20‑minute drive to a parking lot that starts interesting hiking routes. The apartment itself is roomy, with two bedrooms (one double bed and two single beds in the other room), a generous dining area, a separate kitchen, and a bathroom. It was already cool at night and the space was well climate‑controlled. The hosts are friendly but a bit scatterbrained. Unfortunately, maintenance is awful. The bathroom is falling apart (the toilet lid wobbles when you sit, and the shower drains poorly). My bedroom was filthy—moving any furniture revealed layers of dust and clumped lint. The wooden ceiling lacks sound insulation from the upper floor, so whether you can rest depends on who’s staying. I was lucky to have a quiet partner, but I could hear their conversations as if they were next to me and every step echoed above my head. Another issue is that none of the windows have blinds or shutters, so the bedrooms stay fully lit from dawn until dusk.
