I was really disappointed with the state of the bed sheets - they were covered in hairs and pubic hairs. The area around the hotel didn't exactly feel safe, either. It's a shame, because the location could be great if it was a bit cleaner and more welcoming.

To be honest, I didn't find much to like about this motel. The location wasn't ideal, and the whole place felt outdated. What really got my goat was that I wasn't informed about the motel's condition before booking, and when I tried to get a refund from Booking, I got nowhere.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much to praise about this place. The bed and old sheets were a major turn-off, and the cigarette smell was unbearable.

This hotel isn't going to win any awards for luxury, but it's well-maintained, clean, and quiet, which is more than I can say for some places. The only downside is that it's a bit of a trek from downtown, and good luck getting an Uber during Mardi Gras - you might be waiting a while.

The hotel's gated and the area feels okay, but the beds could have been more comfortable. It's not the Ritz, but it's a decent place to stay if you're on a budget.
