The room was very spacious, and the kitchenette was handy; it would have been great to also have a small table and chairs, which would really complete the overall apartment. I was surprised by the noise from the subway.

Light sleepers, read this before booking! First, the young staff at reception were lovely, polite, and genuinely tried to help me throughout my stay. My criticism is directed at the hotel itself and its management, not at the reception staff. The biggest problem is noise from the subway/trains. The hotel sits essentially above or along the subway line, and every passing train produces a low rumbling sound that can be heard inside the room every few minutes, from early morning until late at night. If you’re sensitive to noise, sleep lightly, or like to sleep late in the morning, this is extremely important information and, in my opinion, it should be stated clearly in the hotel description before guests book. I asked whether I could move to a higher floor. I was told that a higher‑floor room would cost a very substantial additional amount, but even then they could not guarantee that I would no longer hear the trains. Paying a large surcharge just for the possibility that it might be quieter made no sense to me. If you still decide to stay here and are a light sleeper, bring serious foam earplugs—something like Moldex or Mack’s, not just basic travel earplugs. You may need them. 😅 Unfortunately, there was another incident that seriously affected my impression of the hotel. One evening I returned after being away from approximately 11:15 a.m. until evening and found a plastic cup containing still‑cool water and some rubbish left on my table. These items were definitely not mine. After asking reception to investigate, I was told that a manager had entered my room by mistake. What I still do not understand is why, after realizing it was the wrong occupied room, someone would leave their cup and rubbish on a guest’s table. My room access code was changed afterward. Reception staff apologized repeatedly and even offered me a coffee coupon, which I declined. I’ve already covered all of the negative points above.

The location was great and the staff were lovely. The smell of cigarettes in the lift and the pillows were very thin

The room was large enough for four people, we added an extra bed and still had plenty of space.

The room was spotlessly clean and cozy, fully equipped with everything you need, and the shower was huge. The hotel sits right beside Nihombashi and Dotombori, which is great. The staff were adequate but rather unfriendly, speaking very little English, which is disappointing for a hotel.
