The host Nicolas is a very kind man and provides a great breakfast. The pool is wonderful and the view is phenomenal. The large terrace is also lovely for sitting after the afternoon sun has set. We found the room a bit small and somewhat dated. The towels were very hard. We knew it was going to be hot without air conditioning, so that was our mistake, but there was a ceiling fan. The property is very high, so you have to climb down and up a lot to go out.

The room did not match the advertised description. The stated size of 25 m² was actually only about 17 m². A fan was the only cooling device, although an air conditioner was listed. There was no minibar, just an empty fridge that emitted heat and raised the room temperature further. Because of these major discrepancies the room was unusable, so I had to leave early. The accommodation did not respond appropriately to my feedback and later made false claims (supposed contact attempts, alleged confirmation on my part). Overall the stay was not as described and unusable.

The property is nice and private, offering a relaxing stay near Nice. We loved the swimming pool and the small but very well thought‑through facilities in the outdoor space. Our room had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious terrace we spent all our evenings on. The owners were welcoming and the views were spectacular. Parking was easy and spacious (and safe). If you are looking for peace and relaxation – this is the place for you. We would return if ever in that area again. The road up to the hotel is quite narrow, so although it is close to Nice, the drive up or down was sometimes quite nerve‑wracking. It will not ruin your stay, but it just sort of limits the times you want to drive somewhere. Just something to be prepared for. The only recommendation to the hosts would be to offer some variety for breakfast for those guests who stay longer than 2 nights. Everything was really nice, but it just gets slightly repetitive during 4 nights.
