“A lovely stopover driving north or south in France, reasonably priced rooms but expensive evening meal and breakfast.”

The location and countryside surroundings were great; the rooms were modern with comfortable beds, and there was tea and coffee equipment. The shower design was awkward because the door opened onto the side of the washbasin, making it hard to get in and out.

The food at the restaurant was the best we’ve had in France. The bathrooms are tiny and the shower doors are very tight; we are small, but anyone larger would not have fit into the shower.

The location was great and the suite price was a bit trivial. In the suite there were two Tetrapack water bottles in the fridge, nothing else. Breakfast was good. The food in the restaurant was possibly the worst for a high‑end kitchen, and the service was not professional for the expected level.
