“Very enjoyable stay in a unique and beautifully restored building.”
The building is unique and beautifully restored, and the location is good. The rooms are large, well designed, and nicely decorated; we were told on departure that we had been upgraded. Breakfast was excellent. However, there is no restaurant on site, no coffee shop or cafe as advertised, and the outside terrace isn’t available. The marble bathroom floor is very slippery when wet, needing anti‑slip coating or a mat, and there are no handrails on the ground‑floor stairs or at the entrances.
