All IBIS hotels should follow this standard. I travel across the country and use the chain a lot, but I didn’t find anything like this elsewhere. Congratulations.

“Bom custo benefício”

The rooms were kept in great condition and spotless, with a spacious table for laptop work and plenty of power outlets. The view of the city was lovely. The only downside was that parking at the hotel required an extra fee.

“Não vale a pena.”

The bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, and the sink began to overflow as soon as the water was turned on. The sheets were too short and kept slipping off the bed, the mattress was soft, and the cleaning was very poor—there was no disinfectant smell at all. I had to change rooms three times; the first had paper on the floor and a bed that looked made but bore marks from someone else, with long‑neglected dirt under the bed and a large piece of a drip‑cap near the bed. Breakfast served eggs cooked in an old pan that flaked Teflon onto the food, and the kitchen staff worked without caps or uniforms, looking very sloppy. I stayed at an Ibis about twenty years ago and was shocked by how it has changed—simple enough, but it doesn’t need to be this careless.
