The heating was fine, hot water and shower were okay, cleaning was okay, the bed was comfortable and the pillow was okay. There was a strong smell of smoke in the rooms; I asked for a room change, they were friendly and let me switch rooms, but the new room also had a smoke smell, just less.

I got an email a few days before my arrival telling me to pay "promptly" or else they'd cancel my booking, which felt very unprofessional especially since they advertise paying at the hotel. The room had cobwebs, stained and old towels, and no air conditioning or ventilator. It was on the first floor, with the reception downstairs. From 8 am to 11 pm the staff were loudly singing and shouting, which I found very annoying. I really disliked my stay.

“Tourists should be extra careful”

I had a disappointing stay at this B&B, which was run down and didn't match the online images. The owners were unfriendly and created a hassle when I returned from a morning out, claiming I hadn't paid despite my online confirmation. After some argument, they demanded half the rate, which I reluctantly paid due to fatigue. What's more, I discovered a much better and cheaper alternative, Hotel Victoria, just a 10-minute walk away.
