The location is convenient, close to the market, and there’s a large paid city parking nearby. The doors slam against the floor, there are occasional hot‑water shortages in the shower, the kitchen is dirty with an old sponge and rag, loose hinges on the bathroom door sometimes prevent it from closing, ventilation is poor and a damp smell lingers. Overall the place feels neglected.

The rooms were clean, the bathroom was spacious and comfortable, and there was plenty of storage. Unfortunately, daytime conversations from the adjacent room were audible, and at night the snoring from the neighboring room was very annoying. The shared kitchen wasn’t very clean; it was better to use the dishes and kettle provided in the room, as the communal pots and stove weren’t rinsed. Additionally, a strong cleaning‑product odor, almost hospital‑like, hung in the room all the time, and ventilation didn’t help remove it.

It’s convenient for a one‑to‑two‑day stay, and you can reach many mountain trails quickly. I forgot the phone charger in the room, they contacted me, offered to send it by mail, a small but pleasant gesture.

Very clean, close to the old market, a great starting point for exploring the surroundings of Wałbrzych.

The hostel’s location is great and there’s a nearby parking spot. I understand that a place of this class doesn’t have air conditioning, but a fan would be handy on hot days, and the street side of the rooms is fairly noisy from traffic.
