The air conditioning worked well and the hot water was reliable. However, the hotel was noisy at night because it sits near a highway, and the constant roar of large‑displacement motorcycles kept waking me up during both nights. The check‑in female receptionist, whom I guessed was Indian because of the red dot on her forehead, was not very welcoming; she had a cold face and rushed through the hotel info so quickly I felt overwhelmed. Despite her unwelcoming attitude, she demanded a RM100 deposit. I asked if there was any flexibility, like holding my passport or accepting Vietnamese dong since we didn’t have much Malaysian ringgit, but she insisted the only option was a RM100 cash deposit, which is unreasonable as hotels usually offer some flexibility. I couldn’t find any deposit policy on the booking site. Basic amenities were missing: no indoor slippers, no proper wardrobe or hanging space—just a short horizontal rail with three hooks. The room was also quite small for a Deluxe Queen. Overall, although the hotel is rated one star, the facilities and service did not meet even the basic expectations of a one‑star hotel. Considering the price, it was poor value for money. I would not stay there again or recommend it to friends.
