“Prettig”

I loved the Zwenbad location and the terrace in front of my room, and the staff were friendly. However, when we arrived, the reception chatted with our friends without letting us know.

“Ein Ort, in den man sich sofort verliebt!!!”

This gorgeous old monastery in the heart of Tuscany was lovingly restored and expanded. Its strategic position makes it easy to visit Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, or Volterra, and it’s surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The nearby town of Poggibonsi has plenty of supermarkets. Our Valle apartment was comfortable, and the seating area in front offered a fantastic view. The pool was huge, clean, and pleasantly warm. Every day it was wonderful to wander through the building’s ensemble and enjoy the magical evening light. The staff were always helpful and gladly gave us tips about the area during a free tour of the winery, followed by a tasting of superb Chianti Classico and Tuscan bread with aromatic, homemade olive oil. We’re very grateful for that. The whole family agrees we’ll definitely return to this beautiful spot. Tuscany has captured us. We can only recommend: if you’re going to Tuscany, choose Quercia Al Poggio! On the downside, it might be worth considering installing air conditioning in the apartments. We experienced temperatures between 36 and 39 degrees and the existing fans barely managed to lower the indoor temperature at night. This doesn’t in any way diminish the incredible overall impression.
