“Österreich at it’s best!”

The house was gorgeous and perfectly situated, though the last few narrow meters felt a bit off for a Brandenburger not used to that route, yet the mountain view makes every step worthwhile. It’s wonderfully quiet there. The pool sits in a green garden, large enough for swimming and spotless. From the balcony you can see the meadow, forest edge, and occasionally a deer; there are also horses, donkeys, goats, and cats on the property. The balcony overlooks the valley – a 11 out of 10 experience! The owners and the whole family living on the grounds are very thoughtful, extremely friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Inside the room we had everything we needed: plenty of towels, a kitchenette with kettle, coffee machine, toaster, small oven, fridge, and all utensils and dishes, so our self-catering was no problem. We could start a hike straight from the house. The house is only reachable by car, but its strategic location lets you reach all nearby towns, attractions, great mountain lakes, or just the city for dining or grocery shopping.

Quiet, beautiful mountain and valley view. Spotless, and even though animals were nearby, we didn’t notice any odor. In the evening we relaxed on the balcony because there are no mosquitoes. The price for the peace, silence, and view requires driving on narrow roads. The pool was great, just watch out for the waves.
