Had a lovely stay at The Albert; the welcome was great, the room was spotless and comfortable with everything needed for a short stay, and the food was great too. I would definitely recommend it. Nothing negative.

The location was great and the staff were lovely. Though the building isn’t modern, the room was very comfortable, well decorated with some lovely touches, and they managed to fit a lot into a small space. Worth booking the Sunday roast dinner; it was very nice.

The location was very central, but there was also a lot of traffic noise. You could enjoy meals or a drink on site and were offered a discount if you were a guest. The rooms were newly decorated, albeit a little over the top with mirrors and some cliche “inspirational” messages around the room that quite honestly were not needed. The traffic noise at night and early in the morning made it difficult to sleep, and the car parking was a long walk from the hotel and quite expensive.

The location, good staff and vibes, entertainment, food looked good but I didn’t eat here. The mattress was too soft, and the bathroom decor was great but just a little small.
