“A very nice B & B that is in a quiet historic neighborhood in Louisville.”
This was a lovely old home, in great condition. The host was great and gave us information about the house that she knew. She prepared the breakfast that was included each of the 3 mornings we were there. The owners apparently own 3 properties in Louisville and have a central food preparation facility which then sends the frozen food prepared to the B & B. The food was innovative and delicious. Everything about the check in and stay were very well organized with a key pad that worked for the front and side doors as well as the bedroom door. The only thing to be aware of that we were not was that we were on the third floor and there is no elevator. There is free parking on site
“Nice alternative to staying at a random hotel! Wonderful breakfast choices and yummy food!”
Beautiful area and nicely kept. Nothing!!
“Chance to stay in a Louisville mansion.”
Highly decorated large period home in Old Louisville with modern comforts. Must be able to walk up stairs for most rooms. Community area for coffee and full refrigerator. Large bath with soaking tub and separate shower. Easy on street parking. Walkable neighborhood but rare restaurant, coffee shop, or store around. Breakfast featured southern cooking with a flair and very informative hostess. Glad we stayed here on our trip through Louisville. Be sure to read the clever instructions manual. Need to consider age and mobility when staying here
“An enjoyable stay overall.”
A very beautiful restored mansion. We were told we would won the second floor only to discover we were assigned to the third floor. Considering we arrived late in the day after long flights, I would have preferred to not have to carry our luggage an additional floor. Also, the innkeeper could not locate the light switch for the ceiling fixture in the bathroom
“Was comfortable”
Kind of had an idea the breakfast was cooked/hot. It was mostly cold, the potatoes were very watery. The souffle and sausage was good, however, the potatoes were left on the plate. Arrived later than planned, tried calling several times , almost got back in the car to find a hotel. Would have liked to have been able to reach someone by phone. No real person was seen until breakfast
