The location, vibe, and bedroom are fantastic and cozy, yet the absence of a microwave is a real drawback; allergy‑sensitive guests would have to bring their own food and heat it themselves, which is inconvenient.

The place is well situated and cheap for heading to Hotham for a ski trip, and the AC kept the room pleasantly warm on cold days; the nearby pub made meals easy and the town food was great. However, the room carpets are a bit stained and could use an update, though the room and beds were clean overall. The bathroom fan was extremely loud and needed replacing, so we often avoided turning the lights on.

A charming little hotel in a quiet, pleasant setting, but there is no after‑hours emergency service. When I arrived, my key wasn’t available, and I had to knock on the main building for over 30 minutes until someone appeared; three other guests were in the same situation.
