“Okay for a one night stay on a road trip.”
The motel looks old and a bit shabby outside, yet inside it was clean, quiet, and comfortable; the bed and shower were great, but I was charged an extra $3 for using a credit card.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner lived on site; no complaints.
“Good for travelers, great value”
The Hacienda is spotless, quiet, convenient, and offers great value. The mini‑fridge and ice maker are handy when heading out for a camping trip, which offsets the lack of ambience. We’d stay again when passing through Alturas, but for a longer stay we might choose a different place. The beds aren’t very comfortable, and the rooms have exposed cords and unlovely decor, but at this price we don’t expect perfection.
