Key handover was straightforward, and there was a place to store bicycles. The room, however, was quite dark, and there was no breakfast available on site.

“Insgesamt durchaus zufrieden.”

The accommodation was good. My late arrival had been arranged and approved in advance, so everything went smoothly. A nice Greek restaurant was nearby. The entrance hall was decorated with lovely antique items, and the old wooden staircase was charming. The pension room itself was well furnished, very clean, and pleasant. The traffic noise from the cars was a bit loud but tolerable, especially with a slightly open window. In a car‑heavy country like Germany, that's just the way it goes. It would have helped to have a few bike racks in front of the building where bicycles, especially pricier e‑bikes, could be parked and plugged in.

“Es gibt bessere Unterkünfte”

The house is actually quite pretty and has potential for more, but it’s only run halfheartedly. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the bathroom has been newly renovated. We had a room with a balcony. Breakfast was adequate but had to be ordered by 17:00 the previous day. The balcony of our room was dirty and urgently needed sweeping; the balcony furniture was in very poor condition, and the chairs were broken. The railing also needs a fresh coat of paint. Because we were the only guests wanting breakfast, the request was grudgingly granted. Breakfast cost 15 € per person, which felt overpriced. The outdoor sign on the main street advertised “Guest Town” and 24‑hour opening, which no longer applies. Staff ignored customer wishes and only thought of themselves, constantly saying “I also have to go to another facility,” which I didn’t care about. We were also advised to check out earlier than 11:00, preferably at 10:00 or half‑past ten, because we still had to go to another facility.

La pulizia della camera e la posizione vicina al centro, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. La reception era del tutto inesistente, abbiamo chiamato la proprietaria che in un inglese un po' stentato ci ha spiegato come accedere . Per quasi tutto il soggiorno siamo stati le uniche presenze aggirarsi in struttura, che nonostante avesse anche una zona ristorante non è mai stato aperto. In caso di emergenza, non avremmo saputo come fare. Inoltre, ci era stato detto che avremmo avuto una camera con letto matrimoniale e invece alla fine ci è stata data una stanza con due letti singoli
