“Sympathisches familiengeführtes Hotel mit viel Herzlichkeit”
Central location in Brissago with short walks to the lake, promenade, restaurants, and shops. The room was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay, with air conditioning and a spacious terrace overlooking Lago Maggiore. The owner’s warmth made me feel instantly welcome, and the breakfast was very good and extensive. The hotel sits directly on the main road, so you have to accept traffic noise when staying on the terrace, and in the room you hear nothing through a closed door.
The family‑run hotel welcomed us warmly, offering directions to the promenade and restaurants. It sits on the main street, which isn’t a problem. We stayed on the 4th floor; the windows are sound‑proof and there’s air conditioning. The room was large and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony view was spectacular. Breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of breads, rolls, cakes—all fresh—as well as cereal, eggs, sausage, cheese, jam, juice, coffee, tea, all replenished quickly. Whenever we asked, they gave us travel tips. Everything was perfect; we’ll definitely return.

A spacious, spotless family room even with grown‑up kids, complete with a great terrace. The single room next door was a bit smaller but still suited our needs. The breakfast buffet was generous. The owners were very attentive and friendly, even reminding us what we had drunk the first morning on the second day. The beds were comfortable—though that’s somewhat subjective. The location was perfect for excursions or just lounging on the terrace. The traffic noise that many criticize is expected, but thanks to well‑insulated windows and the higher floor, it was no issue.
Breakfast was very good, rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. The traffic street was loud in the morning and the parking spaces were very short.
