The place was filthy. When we arrived the bins were overflowing and some rubbish was on the floor. The apartment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for days: dusty cupboards, a dirty shower, and the list goes on. I would not recommend!

The other guests at the property were lovely and tidy. Unfortunately, the property itself was very dirty and seemed to need a deep clean. The shower appeared not to have been cleaned properly for a long time; the toilet didn’t flush and was badly blocked; and the floors were extremely dirty. This was especially concerning because more than four people shared the same bathroom and common areas. I also found red stains inside the blanket or sheet that looked like blood, raising doubts about whether the bedding had been changed. The pillows smelled so unpleasant that we had to get new pillowcases before using them. My sister and I both fell ill during our stay, adding to our concerns about cleanliness. I intended to photograph the bathroom but forgot; however, I have attached a photo of the stained bedding.

The room I stayed in was comfortable, but the walls could use a clean because of coffee splashes and other stains. The front of the property is untidy; rubbish has been left on the lawn for some time and needs immediate attention. It’s the only untidy property on the street. The fridge situation is problematic: spoiled food needs to be discarded. While guests may be responsible for their own items, they should label them. The fridge smells unpleasant and could use a cleaning. I also noticed the dishcloth hadn’t been changed since last week, which is unhygienic. Guests should follow the rules about placing items in the fridge. The recycling and rubbish bins in the kitchen are being used as waste bins; some people are doing the right thing, others are not. The floors haven’t been swept or mopped. I like the comfort of the room, but these issues concern me. Otherwise, it’s a good place to stay, and I’m grateful.
