Lakeside Hotel and Spa

The location, room, and spa were all good. The vegan breakfast option was only somewhat good.

“Overall it is a wonderful hotel in a spectacular location to which we look forward to returning.”

I was really impressed with the Brasserie Early Dining option – the food, staff and value for money were all excellent, and breakfast in the conservatory was a delight with the view over the lake. We were disappointed that there were no bathrobes in the room; when we asked reception because we wanted to swim, they said towels were no longer left in rooms due to theft, so they had to deliver some to us. The spa and pool looked nice, but the hot tub was colder than the pool and only stayed on for a minute, and the gents changing room was flooded. There was no mention of nature’s pool, which I would have liked to try.

“Lovely location”

The spot on Windermere is great, but the staff seemed unhappy and only the reception was helpful.

The location is great, the hotel is nice with good facilities, and the reception staff were helpful, friendly, and made a big difference. Nothing to note.
