My initial experience with the male staff member who checked me in was great, no complaints. He did a great job. The female staff member that I spoke with the second day of my stay, about extending my stay for a few hours, was incredibly rude and un-accommodating, despite me being police and my offer to pay for the additional hours. It pretty much ruined my stay there. She was exceptionally awful. I really try to have empathy for staff because I have managed vacation rentals, but the experience was so bad and stressful that I am ranking this hotel low. I am also concerned that they do not have the AC on during the day, which doesn't work when LA is so hot in the summer, and can lead to mold growth

Good accommodation and breakfast. The hotel is a little out of the main area if you are not driving for bars and restaurants however easily accessible with an uber
