I booked a room for an employee under my name, but they wouldn’t let her stay because she didn’t have my ID. I’ve booked rooms under my name before and never had this issue. The manager told her to leave the property and said he would call the police. She had just been released from the hospital with her foot in a cast, so this felt wrong and I want a refund. The manager showed no respect, and I will never use Motel 6 again.

The place is close to downtown. The bathroom door needs to be replaced or adjusted because it made noise every time it opened due to wear.

The location is convenient. At checkout, a polite staffer was there to tell me where to deposit the key with the video staffer. The video check‑in experience is odd, though the staffer was polite. If there’s cleaning staff onsite, there should also be a human checking in other human guests.
