Everything was perfect. The food is great, Yves is super sweet and always available, and the place feels like a hidden paradise.

Sleeping Trees, Sunset Beach sits on Koh Rong Samloem’s private shoreline, steps from Lazy Beach and minutes from Saracen Bay. Ground‑floor rooms offer sea‑view windows, tiled floors, private baths, work desks and plush beds. Guests enjoy a beachfront terrace, garden lounge, on‑site bar and free public Wi‑Fi. The paradise has an address here. We stayed in a bungalow, but the tents were also fine. The beach is off the beaten path and the daily cleaning keeps the water wonderful. The beach offers plenty of sun and shade spots. The food is great, with three restaurants to choose from. Yves is helpful but lets you relax. There’s Wi‑Fi and charging points, free drinking water, and you can see constant improvements everywhere. There are showers and mini‑showers to rinse sand off your feet. Incredible luxury for such a remote spot. Some mention a difficult path, but it’s manageable. It’s less convenient with a rolling suitcase, but you’re there in 20 minutes. It’s great to do. We stayed three days, and I honestly don’t know why we left.

A place out of this world in every sense! For its beauty and wild location, arriving by land from Saracen Bay is a tough but doable task; I recommend taking a Taxi Boat that drops you in the water right in front of this marvelous spot. On the same shore are another three or four similar “hotels” that serve food and drinks and offer a fantastic activity center… a small, quiet corner of paradise run by a friendly French host!

The hotel is clearly aiming for sustainability: solar panels power the rooms, free refill water is available, all cutlery and plates are reusable instead of plastic, and they even give out snorkeling masks at no cost. Kudos for the eco‑friendly effort!

The views were stunning, especially at sunset, and the crystal‑clear water and golden‑white sand beach felt very private, with plenty of hammocks and beach chairs. The on‑site food was also great, though the bathrooms were rustic and there was no air conditioning—just a fan in each tent.
