I was disappointed by the lack of transparency and the discomfort in a place meant for relaxation. I chose Crama Jelna hoping for peace, expecting a hotel inside a winery, but the experience fell short. The main issue is that the hotel fails to inform guests before booking that it hosts large events, including weddings and parties on Friday and Saturday with over 300 attendees. Music can be heard in some rooms, and the common areas suffer from these events. Even at the reception and bar, tables for musicians were set up, creating obvious discomfort for guests seeking relaxation. I respect the hotel’s right to host private events, but I believe guests should be informed beforehand—this is basic transparency and respect. Had I known that weddings of that scale would occur during my stay, I would not have chosen this accommodation. A hotel situated in a winery should offer a relaxing experience, not turn guests into involuntary participants in private events. Consequently, I gave a lower score because the lack of transparency and the discomfort significantly impacted my stay.
