The common areas—cinema, billiards, conference room, study room—are great, and the location is excellent; everything is within walking distance. I could borrow a hairdryer from the reception. The stairwell was consistently very hot, though.

It reminded me of my student days; the room felt like a dorm, yet everything was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The room was a bit tight and pricey, but that might be normal for Galway.

The staff were friendly and the place sits right in the heart of Galway City, just steps from restaurants, pubs, and Eyre Square. A countertop fan in the room was a nice touch, especially with the high temperatures. Unfortunately, the rooms lack air conditioning.

The place was clean. There was no air conditioning, and it wasn’t mentioned; I couldn’t open the windows, so we suffered the heat. The parking was listed as on-site but was actually external, and the bed in the mini‑apartment was a French double, not a full double.

The location and price were good for a few hours while waiting for a late‑night bus. The entrance was hard to reach; nobody answered the intercom or phone.
