The spot itself was great, and the person who handed us the key was very kind and polite. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and service left a lot to be desired: no soap, hand wash, shower gel, or shampoo in the bathroom; the shared kitchen was filthy with food and vegetables scattered around, creating nasty smells down the hallway; there was no routine cleaning or anyone to restock basics like toilet paper. Outside the room, the noise was quite loud. Even though we had a double bed, it was too small and narrow for two people, so we slept cramped and barely turned over comfortably. We didn’t sleep well at all. We only saw the owner once when we picked up the key and never encountered anyone else during our stay. The location is good and the welcome was friendly, but the cleanliness, comfort, and overall service need major improvement.
