“Comfortable modern accommodations in a historic building in the heart of Stará Lubovña”

I stayed in a modern room inside a historic building right on the Town Square, and it was spacious and quiet with comfy beds and plenty of hot water. Parking was free at the back of the building, and the nearby Pub Bururu was a quick walk away. However, there was no coffee machine in the room, no coffee service in the lounge in the morning, and the staff felt remote; the reception wasn’t open.

The room was very good—clean, tastefully decorated, and the bedding was nice. The pension shared a bar with the same name, and we had a great time bowling there. Unfortunately, we were told that breakfast wasn’t available during the low season, and we had to go to Kaufland because no city bars were open on Sunday mornings.

The privacy was excellent. The only issue was that the heating couldn’t be adjusted.

The location and secure parking were great, and the restaurant from the same establishment was nearby. The staff at the restaurant were very efficient and pleasant. The accommodation was quiet. On the downside, the cleaning detergent smelled a bit too strong in the room, and we couldn’t find a window for ventilation.

The bathroom in room 7 had a terrible smell coming from the drain that didn’t go away even after filling the pipes with water.
