“Gute Lage aber viel zu teuer für das geringe Niveau!”

The beach is wonderful with very nice restaurants within walking distance. The beach spot “Viña del Mar” is very clean and has a super cozy vibe under the palm trees, where you can enjoy a beach day on loungers or hammocks. The hotel “Casa Pierogi” also offers excellent Eastern European cuisine to guests by arrangement. Next to it (50 m) is “Comedor Eli”; the women cooking there are very friendly and the shrimp in coconut sauce is highly recommended. I would keep coming back to this beach of Agua Blanca! Those who prefer more hustle or want their kids to splash in the naturally clean pool should head toward the main beach, about 400 m further, where there are also many restaurants. We found that too much bustle. The beach of Agua Blanca is a wonderful place! The accommodation is very simple. The service is in need of major improvement. The price for a night is not justified in any way. The bathroom usually only has cold water, never even lukewarm! We raised the issue several times, were told that the water is warm enough and that there is no need for warm water. Because of that, sunscreen can’t be rinsed off properly; you end up smearing everything onto the towel. The lack of warm water was not mentioned in the description. When you shower, the toilet gets completely wet, so you have to wipe it down each time. Getting a roll of toilet paper every two days is difficult… The bathroom smells strongly of sewage. There is no window for ventilation. Hand‑towel hooks and a place for a toothbrush holder are missing. Tap water for brushing teeth isn’t provided. In the surrounding area there are no shops. Towels are replaced every two days. We had to hand in the old ones early in the morning and only got new ones in the evening after repeated requests because the supposedly “24‑hour security” was out on a trip. The sleeping area: the air conditioner works well. Wi‑Fi is available but weak in the room. There is a large bed with hard pillows and constantly slipping polyester bedding. With the heat, cotton bedding would be more comfortable. The description says “wardrobe and dressing room”; these are not present. There are dressers. The drawers are dirty and unusable. The curtains are transparent and can’t be fully drawn because various water pipes are used as curtain rods, preventing closure. We booked 7 nights, but no mid‑stay cleaning took place. Because there was no central trash bin, guests left their bags outside the door, where they stayed for the entire stay.

Clean, very friendly staff, and the air conditioning works fine. The area where it’s located is a semi‑wild zone, so there are no nearby shops; it would be very convenient if the hotel sold basic consumables like water or snacks, because it definitely sells nothing. The room and bathroom are not properly equipped for a hotel. For example, there is no closet, a curtain is missing at the main entrance, and the one that exists is very short. These are things that can be fixed very quickly to make the stay more pleasant.
