Hotel Astoria

I gave a high rating mainly for the reception. The staff were very friendly, and we were checked in early, contrary to expectations. The bedding was worn, the bathroom was small with a poor leak, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. More attention to cleaning is needed. It’s not a hotel, but the beaches are polluted.

I stayed near the metro and the market, which was super convenient, and the staff were friendly. The room was very comfortable, and because it was a bit away from downtown it stayed quiet overall. The only downside was that while extra blankets were available, an additional duvet would have been helpful for two people.

I liked that the hotel was close to the beach, bus stops, and a shop, the staff were nice, and they offered breakfast on site. However, the bathroom curtain needed to be replaced or at least washed properly—it was yellowish and black at the bottom from dirt, and the bathroom fan should be cleaned too. It gave off an unpleasant smell, but it was necessary to turn it on since there was no window in the bathroom. Otherwise, the bed linen was clean, the room looked tidy, but the bathroom still has room for improvement.

The place was clean, close to the beach, had parking, and the staff were friendly. The bathroom was very small and uncomfortable, the street noise was loud, there was no insect net, and the shower head was awkwardly positioned high up.
