The owner speaks Japanese and his wife is Japanese too, so the service was excellent. The dog was cute. On the last day we chartered a car, and driver Udara took us around Sigiriya, the Great Buddha of Anuradhapura, and the Dambulla Cave in a very pleasant way, which was very comfortable. Thank you. The only issue was that when I left sweets on the bed, ants came up from the drain and landed on the bed, but I solved it with insect‑repellent spray W.

“Wonderful place to stay with helpful owner”

The location is great, close to the ruins, and Sahan was so helpful—he organized an evening boat trip to see elephants on the lake and hired us to tour the ruins, making sure we didn’t miss anything. He also recommended a wonderful restaurant and arranged a car for our next destination. Thanks for a wonderful stay; the room and breakfast were perfect. Nothing else to add.

“Mixed feelings. Terrible first night, but good second room, great location, excursions”

Excellent location, very close to recommended restaurants. Support with organizing excursions and fantastic, friendly drivers. The upper-floor room with a balcony was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we originally booked. Upon arrival, we were placed in a lower-category ground-floor room instead of our booked room with a balcony. The owner initially claimed it was an "upgrade with no extra charge" and only admitted later that our actual room was given to someone else, making us feel treated like second-class guests. The ground-floor room had a serious cockroach problem – we had to get rid of several during the night, and more kept appearing (photos attached). Breakfast below average compared to most places we stayed at in Sri Lanka
