We stayed for a family vacation with six adults, two kids, and a dog during the summer break. Because it was the busy Obon period, the price was higher than usual, yet it turned into a great memory. The rooms were spacious and spotless; the first floor had a living area and kitchen, and the second floor had five rooms, each offering an ocean view or a projector, so picking a room was fun. There were two bathrooms, one of which had a sauna, making for a luxurious experience. The first floor had a TV, a karaoke mic, and a grand piano, which thrilled the kids. The kitchen, normally used for a reservation‑only cooking class or restaurant, was surprisingly clean, and we could use it freely, which was a big help because all the seasonings were there, so we just needed to bring the ingredients. The garden was large, letting our dog run around energetically. The owner’s cute Shiba Inu greeted us, which was soothing. We booked a stay without meals, but the owner kindly provided handmade Shanghai xiaolongbao for breakfast; they were juicy, authentic, and delicious. We’re grateful for his warm gesture. Next time we’d love to book a restaurant meal and try the cuisine. The owner was very kind and friendly, and he gave us thorough local sightseeing tips, making our stay comfortable. The whole family was thrilled, and it was a memorable trip. Thank you. However, the owner’s room was on the first floor, so it wasn’t a full‑private stay. During our visit, the owner came in and out of the first floor, and because the place is also a restaurant, there are several security cameras there. We didn’t mind, but if you want a fully private stay or dislike cameras, keep that in mind. The owner never entered the second‑floor guest area, so privacy was maintained there.

“100分nice”

The check‑in instructions were thorough, explaining every facility and even giving us cutlery. Knowing we were going to cook hot pot, they sent us the base sauce and prepared a two‑pot set for us. The next day’s breakfast was a surprise and far beyond what a typical hotel breakfast could offer, so overall this stay was a perfect 100. Facilities, service, and location all left us very satisfied.

“ワンちゃんと一緒に館山観光”

The chef’s wife’s cooking was excellent, and the owner was very kind; we stayed with our dog and felt very well taken care of. The sauna in the bath was great, and the nearby tourist spots made it a recommendation. On the downside, the first floor is a restaurant with an office, so bringing a pet can be a bit awkward.
