“Convenient place to stay on budget”

The location is great for grabbing food and catching transit, but the staff were horribly rude, especially the lady who checked us in—her name slipped my mind.

“Not the worst Motel 6, but far from the best.”

The room matched most Motel 6 standards and was clean, except for a weird stain on the bathroom door. The check‑out clerk was polite, but there was no parking; leaving the property risks losing your spot, and nearby businesses will tow cars parked there. The check‑in clerk was rude, inattentive, and didn’t explain the extra $50 deposit listed at the bottom of the Motel 6 website but nowhere on the app.

The staff were incredibly rude. During a work trip, the front desk first charged the wrong card, then gave my partner and me only one key, and the room had just one towel each. The door was sticky and we had to force it open with our shoulders. After a long day, I asked for another towel and both staff members started yelling. The check‑in clerk asked if we were two people, saw us, said yes, then stormed off while a man told me to “go follow her.” I followed her as she complained about giving me a towel, then she told my partner to smoke in the parking lot, not by the room—my partner doesn’t smoke. We travel a lot for work and stay in many places; we don’t have high expectations for cheap options, but we expect decent treatment. Regardless of location and price, we’ll never stay here again.

“Staff is stingy and rude.”

The location was central for our business, the room was comfortable, and the pillows were the best I’ve ever seen in a motel—though the beds were very firm, maybe too firm. The staff were terrible. While driving to the property, I got a call from Motel 6 staff yelling at me that they wanted my money NOW or they would cancel the room. She said they were too busy to wait, and she tried to run my card but it was denied (not true—I used it the next night at a different motel without issue). At the desk, a woman harassed three young girls who were just trying to rent the rooms they had reserved. If I hadn’t been tired, I would have changed motels. Their claim of being busy was a lie; not even half their rooms were rented. They also refused to return the cash deposit they demanded until after 10, hoping we’d leave so they could keep it. The tub had a ring and mold on the caulking.
