The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The hotel’s location is very convenient to Lyon’s heart—old town, main dining area, major plazas—and close to transit for farther destinations. Yet despite its central spot, it was peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The A/C is controlled from the front desk rather than in the room, so it was hard to tell if it was set too warm or just weak (luckily the weather wasn’t too hot). There was no refrigerator in the room, but staff let us store food in a fridge behind reception. The WiFi provider was terrible; you had to go through a cumbersome, time‑wasting login several times a day, even minutes after just logging in.
