“Heerlijke rust”

Stylish, modern, yet with a warm traditional feel. The hostess Tanja is very sweet. If you’re looking for peace and space in the mountains to walk, you’re in the right place. The rooms are very beautiful, everything is new and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Nothing disappointed. The last part of the trip involves an unpaved trail up the Mendel Pass, but once you’re above, it’s heavenly.

“Herrlich ruhig”

A new building next to the cable car summit station, wonderfully quiet. Great, brand‑new and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. The dinner had little choice and average quality.

A very beautiful, modern accommodation right in the forest. Perfect for anyone who wants to truly unwind and find peace. The location is wonderfully quiet and offers many opportunities for hiking, walking and cycling. Kaltern can also be reached easily by cable car. However, you should be aware that because of its location the accommodation is more of a starting point for nature trips than for spontaneous strolling in Kaltern, Bolzano or Merano. The forest trail from the pass to the accommodation is easy to drive and thanks to Tanja’s helpful videos you can get there without trouble. Breakfast is fantastic and the dinner was always great and very generous. Tanja was incredibly kind and welcomed us warmly even though our dog, who unfortunately didn’t always show his best side, was there. Nothing.

“Sehr zu empfehlen, Natur pur!”

Wonderful, very tasteful accommodation, great bathroom, small terrace. Excellent breakfast, with gluten‑free options. The directions could be better.
