“Lodge mit ausschließlich Halal Küche”

Very friendly staff! Super tours to Chobe National Park can be booked right at the reception, even quite spontaneously, and it’s only about 10 min to Chobe. The houses are very clean and spacious. The neighboring lodge on the same grounds has a great restaurant with a bar (Sandpiper River Lodge). The lodge’s own restaurant serves only halal cuisine and does not offer alcohol because the owner is Muslim; this should be clearly stated on the website and in a prominent place (nothing is listed today). Knowing this beforehand would have made us reconsider booking here because of the halal policy. Wi‑Fi is available but far too weak.

Everything was great, but the food is halal and there is no bar because the owner governs that (maybe a double standard). Nobody needs guidance like this; just go to the steakhouse next door at Sandpiper.

“Prima Unterkunft am Rande von Kasane. Für eine Selbstversorgung steht alles zur Verfügung.”

The breakfast was great, the room and the pool too. The accommodation is located outside of Kasane. We liked it.

The staff, cleanliness, spacious unit and parking were all solid, but there was no bar and the room had only minimal bath towel hooks.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the bungalows were clean and perfect for self‑catering (the supermarket is just next to the lodge), and you can also get food at the lodge’s restaurant.
